Serving allows us to experience the joy and peace that comes from obedience. 1 Peter 4:10-11 says, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms... so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ." Serving is a form of worship, a way to express gratitude for what Jesus has done for us,  and to share the love and grace we've been given. At Creekstone Church, we always have a use for your gifts! Opportunities to serve are detailed by ministry below. Use the contact form at the bottom of the page to volunteer!

Audio/Visual Ministry

The A/V Ministry is a group of energetic and dependable individuals who serve the Lord by operating equipment and controls during worship services, rehearsals, or live events as scheduled (i.e. control sound and lights, soundboard, camera, etc.).

Children's Ministry

The Children’s Ministry, Creekstone Kids, currently serves children ages 2-11. This ministry calls for dependable, friendly, enthusiastic, creative and organized individuals who have the ability to work with and relate well with children. The primary volunteer responsibility is to teach Bible lessons in a creative way so that children will learn and grow in their faith.

Sunday morning check-in: 9:30 AM

One Sunday per month.

Communications Ministry

The Communications Ministry is for those of us who like to socialize! This ministry is divided into the social media team, the newsletter team, and the web team. You may serve on one team, or all teams, as you see fit! Our main goal is to ensure Creekstone Church members are aware of what is going on within the church, as well as keeping an awareness of Christ and his Church online. #E-VANGELISM We use platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to socialize events happening at Creekstone Church or with the Creekstone family, post Biblical scriptures or motivational quotes on the topics of prayer, thanksgiving, and worship, and share snippets from our Sunday sermons and Wednesday night prayer service.

The Communications Ministry may be one of the most flexible ministries, because we can share content pretty much any time of day, from anywhere in the world. All you need is access to a computer, laptop, and/or smartphone with internet service (or Wi-Fi access) and you're on your way!

Hospitality Ministry

The Hospitality Ministry is a team of servant-leaders who are called to help members and guests feel the love of God that is expressed through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39).  Our primary role is to warmly welcome people into God’s house, and provide friendly and authentically gracious service.

Some of our key responsibilities include:

  • Unpack, setup, and repack items for the hospitality ministry table (e.g. worship guides, tithing / offering envelopes, Children's Ministry check-in tags, etc.)

  • Greet members and guests as they enter the building and provide them with worship materials

  • Answer questions and direct people to the sanctuary, Children's Church, restrooms, etc.

  • Assist people with finding a seat in the sanctuary

  • Express a willingness and flexibility to serve in other ways to meet ministry needs

The Connections Team is also part of the Hospitality Ministry, and operates as our center for information at Creekstone. Members of this team serve the Creekstone community by keeping us informed, organized, and connected! The Connections table is located in the back of the sanctuary immediately after service on Sundays.

Sunday morning check-in:  9:15 AM

At least once per month; serving before and after worship service as well as serving at Special Ministry Events.

Music Ministry

The Music Ministry serves the purpose of sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through song; encouraging believers in their walk with Christ; leading the congregation in worship; and providing an avenue through which individuals may be a vital part of the worship experience.  The divisions of the Music Ministry of Creekstone Church are as follows:

Creekstone Praise Team (CPT): This ensemble encourages each individual in the body of Christ to make their praise glorious by leading the congregation in a time of corporate praise.  Praise team members are required to come twice per month to “The Heart Huddle” (Wednesday night Prayer Service).

The Choir: The choir maintains the integrity of gospel music through many styles of music.
