Matthew 28:19-20

Our Motto

Gather. Grace. Give. Grow.

Our Mission Vision

  • Gather with a passion for Christ (Acts 2:44-46)
  • Extend Grace to each other and the community (Matthew 28:19)
  • Give generously of their time, talents, and resources (Matthew 28:19)
  • Grow in the knowledge of our Lord, personally and corporately (Matthew 28:19)

Our Core Values

Biblical instruction II Timothy 3:16

We believe that the bible is the inspired Word of God. As believers, we use the bible as our guide for living lives pleasing to God. We believe that biblical instruction and sound doctrine are foundational to the Christian life. This truth is found in II Timothy 3:16 as the Apostle Paul encourages his protégé Timothy to remain faithful in the face of suffering, especially to sound doctrine and the Holy Scriptures.

Fellowship - Acts 2:44-46

Christians are called into community. As a community we are called out by God and reconciled to Him and each other. Genuine relationships within the body of Christ allow us to build each other up and grow. This truth is found in Acts 2:44-46 as church began with an unselfish group of believers that showed deep concern for one another and each other’s needs. They fellowshipped together and worshipped God earnestly.

Worship - Romans 12:1-2

We value Christ-centered worship and affirm that only God is worthy to be worshipped. True worship is not confined to what we do in church or open praise (although these things are both good, and we are told in the Bible to do them). True worship is the acknowledgment of God and all His power and glory in everything we do.

Prayer - Philippians 4:4-6

We believe in and value the power of prayer. Prayer is a communication process that allows us to talk to God. He wants to speak with us and chooses to do so through prayer. Our prayers should be sincere, earnest, and passionate as we petition God on behalf of others as well as ourselves. We believe that prayer works!

Evangelism - Matthew 28:19-20

As Christians we are called to reach people for Christ with the good news that He is the risen Lord. We are commissioned as believers to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world through intentional communication that shows people grace, while sharing the truth. We value evangelism and will prioritize it in hopes of seeing our city changed by the Gospel.

Hospitality - Romans 12:13

Hospitality is an act of love shown to those we love and those we don’t know. It is contagious and warms the heart of those it touches. God calls us to it; therefore, it’s the responsibility of every believer to treat others hospitably and generously: a hospitable family.

Generosity - II Corinthians 9:6-8

Scripture teaches that God loves a cheerful giver. It is to that end that we value generosity and seek to be a church that gives our time, talents, and resources in open-handed and big-hearted ways.

Creativity - John 1:1-4

We recognize God as the Great Creator. From the beginning of time we’ve seen His hand at work as He has formed something out of nothing. As His image bearers, we seek to be a church that values creativity in our approach to ministry. Change is a key component in the process of creativity and as a church we value change and creativity as ways God uses to draw people to Him.
